Simplicity – Purple Glass Bead necklace on adjustable cord
An individually handmade glass bead in a ridged shape, like a pumpkin. Layered with crackled ambery purple foil, with hints of blue. it comes on a purple adjustable cord.
measures approx 12.5 x 10mm. The cord is approximately 18″ – 25″. There’s no metal on this piece.

I make my lampworked glass beads and marbles one by one using soda lime glass in my Devon studio, they are cooled very slowly in my digitally controlled kiln in a process called annealing for strength and durability.
