Radiating Stripes Marble – Purple and Blue

A handmade lampwork glass marble with a striped pattern encased in clear glass. shades of blue one side, shades of purple the other, radiating into eachother.
There’s a little distortion optical effect from the clear layer on this one.

measures approx 23mm (approx 0.91″)
I make my glass beads and marbles one by one using soda lime glass in my Devon studio, they are cooled very slowly in my digitally controlled kiln in a process called annealing for strength and durability.
