Mneme – Lampwork Glass Goddess Sculpture
Inspiring creativity and imagination, the Muses personify knowledge and the arts. Among their virtues is memory. Soft, seemingly perfect, multi-layered and dreamlike, tinged with gold and sepia. Adorned on the outside with simplified flowers and hazy swirls. Inside, layered with fragmented golden foil and subtle colour shifts in the silver rich glass.
This extra large goddess bead is made in layers of specialty glass, infused with silver. Gorgeous colours of golden lavender and lilac with crackled pale foil and adorned with my 3D Flowers in purple, this bead is unique, it has been individually sculpted in hot glass, no two are exactly the same.
measures 90mm x 36mm x 25mm, 4.5mm hole (approx)
Comes with the custom solid oak stand engraved with the name Mneme, and my logo, or you can turn it over and use the plain side if you prefer. The stainless steel peg will fit into either side.

I make my lampworked glass beads and marbles one by one using soda lime glass in my Devon studio, they are cooled very slowly in my digitally controlled kiln in a process called annealing for strength and durability.
