Wooden Hare with Mandala Necklace – Small , Sterling Silver and Oak Wooden Jewellery

My wooden hare necklace is made from 4mm solid oak, sanded smooth and laser engraved with my own design. it hangs on a sterling silver 18″ chain with a handmade spiral s-hook clasp

These started with a digital drawing I made of a hare, which I added my mandala drawing to, then I laser engraved and cut this from 4mm thick oak that I prepared. It has my logo engraved on the back. Then I drilled it and finished it with an oil & wax coating, before attaching the sterling silver eyepin and sterling silver chain. all the links and the eyepins are soldered closed.

My range of wooden jewellery is very lightweight, this necklace weighs 5.8grams.

The hare measure 40mm x 78mm, the length of the necklace is 18″ approx. I can make other lengths to order, just ask! I also make a larger hare, and a plain version, see the last few pictures

I make these to order, so the grain and exact colour of the wood and the burned in design may vary slightly.
